FIZZ MAGAZINE — JUNE 2026 ISSUE
an in-universe magazine spread from When the Lights Go Red
When the Lights Go Red is a novel series set in the same fictional universe as Don’t Tag Me, following Bina Khoury, a music journalist whose career is on the precipice of something more. The story explores intimacy, ambition, image-making, and what happens when artists become public property before they’re ready.
Created as an interlude between chapters, this fictional culture-magazine spread follows Bina’s coverage of The Bleached Ends as they enter the UK music scene on tour. Through interviews, gossip, and photography, this digital artifact expands the novel’s media ecosystem and blurs the line between publicity and the performance that happens between the lines.
